Role: People Operations Specialist
Rate: £300-350 (inside IR35 via umbrella company)
Location: Cardiff (hybrid working)
Duration: 6-month initial contract (scope for extension)
An experienced People Operations Specialist is required to join a leading Retail Bank and help shape the future of the global workforce.
Responsibilities:
* Own the joiner–mover–leaver lifecycle with precision and compliance
* Manage background screening and Right to Work checks across multiple regions
* Partner with Workplace Technology to deliver smooth tech onboarding/offboarding
* Support and deliver engaging onboarding sessions
* Tackle high-volume employee queries and build clear FAQs
* Maintain impeccable data accuracy across our HRIS and people systems
Required Experience:
1. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth People Ops function
2. Strong knowledge of international HR practices and regulatory environments
3. Background in banking/financial services or other highly regulated sectors is desirable
4. A knack for improving and streamlining people processes
