Senior Service Advisor - Aftersales Department
Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Service Advisor for their branded Aftersales department. This role is suitable for experienced Service Advisors aiming to advance their careers.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads
* A positive attitude and leadership by example
* Minimum of two years' experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership
Key Objectives:
* Maximize service profitability using professional sales techniques
* Sell additional products, services, and repairs professionally
* Ensure customers are aware of all available products and services
* Assist customers with requests related to parts, vehicle sales, and repairs
* Maintain effective communication with sales, parts, and workshop teams
* Keep the reception area tidy and display materials current and professional
* Provide a presence at the service reception, addressing customer inquiries promptly
* Explain technical issues clearly, avoiding jargon or directing to appropriate staff
* Proactively update customers on work progress
* Notify customers when work is completed
* Handle customer complaints calmly and escalate to the Service Manager as needed
Responsibilities as a Senior Service Advisor:
* Follow correct procedures when issuing loan cars, including paperwork and obtaining driver’s licenses
* Document warranty work according to manufacturer and retail policies, obtaining customer signatures
* Comply with health, safety, environmental, and company policies
* Perform additional tasks as requested by the Service Manager
Compensation and Hours:
Basic salary: £24,000 - £26,000 with an OTE of £35,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm, with Saturday mornings (8:30 am - 12:00 pm) on a rota (1 in 3 weeks)
