Job Description:
Activities shall be varied with specific focus on providing ownership for end-to-end processes of all in-service main equipment in support of the UK, European and Export customers and contractual obligations.
The Project Engineering Lead will be responsible and accountable for:
1. Be the primary interface for all Customers across UK, European and Export contracts for all aspects in relation to the servicing and control of Praetorian main equipment.
2. Primary deputy authority to the PEM
3. Manage the Back Office support teams to provide overall priority actions to safeguard availability and capability.
4. Supply monthly reporting and metrics to Praetorian Support PEM and Support PMs.
5. Liaise closely with SEI team to determine impact and improvement trends.
6. Manage obsolescence challenges and subsequent consequences.
7. Manage the Consortium teams in relation to data capture and sharing demands.
8. Manage and implement customer-wide SAMS processes and procedures to ensure commonality of approach.
9. Manage and implement customer-wide Go_Eng processes and procedures to ensure commonality of approach.
10. Manage and support the Technical Support Engineer to maintain capability at the various Technical Diagnostic Cells.
11. Engineering management support on Planning, Risk, Scheduling, Forward load, Work Package management and Design Reviews.
12. Manage, drive and prioritise tasks in accordance with operational and contractual obligations to protect and improve capability.
13. Manage and deliver the scrap process throughout the Consortium and liaising with BAES to achieve task completion.
14. Working closely with EW LoB to drive efficiencies, increase understanding and mitigate impacts.
15. Manage continual improvement activities throughout the customer and end-user environments.
16. Management of Praetorian Sharepoint sites and associated administration.
