Health Care Assistant (Twilight) Inpatient Unit
1. Hours: One full-time role of thirteen 11.5-hour shifts across a 4-week rota and one part-time role of three 6-hour shifts per week
2. Location: Watford Peace Hospice
3. Salary: £24,169 per annum (pro rata)
4. Closing date: 16 June 2025 at 12 noon
5. Interview date: 23 June 2025
The post holder will be required to work shifts from 6pm to midnight, covering a 7-day period. You will support the management of out-of-hours calls for community services.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Contributing to high-quality, safe, evidence-based care.
2. Providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care as part of the multidisciplinary team.
3. Supporting assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient-centered care, ensuring a holistic approach responsive to patient needs.
4. Ensuring safety and smooth shift operations for staff and patients.
5. Managing calls for community services.
6. Aligning with the organisation's vision and values.
