Tetra Live-in Care (TLC) is recruiting motivated and empathetic personal assistants to join our team of trained staff as Registered Nurse Care Manager. You will join us on either a 7 hour or 14 hour per week basis, depending on your availability. In return, you will earn a competitive salary.

We specialise in the 24-hour live-in care of clients with spinal cord injuries. Our clients are based across the UK, but mainly in London and the Southeast. The company's ethos is to provide quality care to our clients while investing time in supporting them and our excellent team of assistants.
Our focus is on providing person-centred care, and we work closely with our personal assistants to develop positive working relationships with those we look after and within the TLC team. Our staff enjoy working at TLC and feel valued and supported as they work for us.
Our small agency has been running since 2013, offering bespoke care packages for our clients. The founder, who has a spinal cord injury himself, has had 25 years working closely with personal assistants and understands the benefits of having a dedicated support network of personal assistants and the importance of having the support of their agency.
The Registered Nurse Care Manager:
As our Registered Nurse Care Manager, you will ensure the safe, effective, and person-centred delivery of domiciliary care services in compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards, the NMC Code, and relevant legislation including:
Care Act 2014 promoting well-being and safeguarding adults
Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 safety, quality, and governance
Mental Capacity Act 2005 supporting decision-making
Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 (where applicable)
Equality Act 2010 nondiscrimination
The Registered Nurse Care Manager applies clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while providing leadership, safeguarding oversight, and support to Personal Assistants. The role will be hybrid, with time spent in the office in Sevenoaks, visiting service users in their own homes, and working from home.
Key Responsibilities of our Registered Nurse Care Manager:
Clinical Assessment and Care Planning (KLOE: Safe, Effective, Responsive)
Conduct holistic nursing assessments considering physical, mental, and social needs.
Develop, implement, and review person-centred care and support plans at least every six months or sooner if circumstances change.
Safeguarding and Incident Reporting (KLOE: Safe, Well-Led)
Identify, respond to, and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with local safeguarding procedures and organisational policy.
Report all incidents, accidents, medication errors, or near misses promptly, accurately, and within defined timeframes.
Care Coordination and Liaison (KLOE: Effective, Responsive)
Coordinate care delivery with service users, families, Personal Assistants, and multidisciplinary teams (GPs, district nurses, therapists).
Support continuity of care during transitions between hospital, community, and home settings.
Staff Supervision and Professional Development (KLOE: Safe, Effective, Well-Led)
Line manage Personal Assistants, providing supervision every three months (in-person or virtual).
Conduct unannounced spot checks to monitor quality and compliance with care plans.
Skills/Qualifications required as our Registered Nurse Care Manager:
Registered Nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disability) with active NMC PIN.
Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in community, domiciliary, or similar care settings.
Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, risk management, and clinical governance.
Proven experience in care coordination and staff supervision.
Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
