Engineering Capability and Workforce Integration Senior Manager
Overview
The Boeing Company, on the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Engineering Capabilities team, seeks an Engineering Capability and Workforce Integration Senior Manager to partner with BDS divisions, capability and functional/skill leadership, HR, GTA and Finance on execution of the BDS Engineering strategy and operation rhythm.
Position Responsibilities
* Lead BDS Engineering engagement and strategy for Intern and Early Career initiatives
* Oversee BDS Engineering Adaptive Planning implementation, and maintain Adaptive Planning for the BDS Engineering Capabilities Organization
* Engage with Division and Capability leaders to execute a BDS Workforce strategy, directly supporting the Product Security Engineering organization in workforce execution
* Maintain Finance performance details for the BDS Engineering Capability Organization
* Manage BDS Engineering SMS Integration
* Provide backup BusOps and project management support across the BDS Engineering Capability Organization
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program
* Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
* Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing engineering initiatives
* Minimum 5 years of experience leading and implementing engineering workforce strategies and/or processes
* Minimum 5 years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
* Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions
Preferred Qualifications
* Track record of meeting or exceeding targets with strong program/project execution skills on schedule and budget
* Ability to navigate complex issues, respond to ambiguity, and communicate complex information clearly
* Experience developing relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
* 5+ years of experience with early career engineering recruitment and sourcing strategies and tools used by Enterprise Engineering and GURE
* Experience with staffing forecast tools in large organizations (e.g., Adaptive Planning)
Education/Experience

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation may be offered for eligible internal candidates.
Security and Compliance
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/Secret clearance may be required post-start, as applicable. Export control requirements apply; a U.S. Person is required under applicable regulations.
