Account Manager - Sampling
Full Time, 12-month maternity cover. 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasionally weekend or evening). Location: Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in Winnersh (RG41 5TP) with occasional visits to client offices in London and Leeds.
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum + 10% bonus opportunity.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the full delivery of sampling projects, ensuring campaigns are executed with precision, quality, and creativity. You will work with clients, internal teams, and field managers from initial brief to post-campaign reporting. This hands‑on, dynamic role requires juggling multiple priorities and consistently delivering high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management – Main point of contact for day‑to‑day queries, build strong relationships, ensure briefs delivered on time with quality checks.
* Project Leadership – Lead and oversee retail experiential activities from planning through to live delivery.
* Data & Insight – Pull and analyse reports, use data to influence change and present results to clients and field managers.
* Process Improvement – Identify and implement new ways of working, ensuring seamless adoption by the field team.
* Team Communication – Present project overviews and performance results confidently at all levels.
* Risk Management – Develop weekly contingency plans to minimise disruption and ensure smooth operations.
* Performance Reporting – Collate week‑end compliance data and activity overviews to share with clients.
* Mentorship – Manage and develop an Account Executive and Stock Controller, including 1:1s, and provide cover during leave.
* Collaboration – Work closely with field, recruitment, and systems teams.
