Job Title: Electrician (must have 18th edition and NVQ 3)
Location: South Birmingham
Contract: Temp to Perm
Salary: £20.00 - £25.00 per hour plus van and fuel card
We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit an Electrician to join their team covering the South of Birmingham.
As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high quality and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations. Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance, completing multiple jobs per day, ensuring a best in class standard of customer service is provided to the residents and their homes in which you're working.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine property maintenance within social housing properties.
* Complete multiple jobs per day to a high standard of workmanship.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and relevant standards.
* Provide excellent customer service to residents and maintain good property presentation.
Qualifications / Experience
* Proven experience as a Multi Trader in social housing or similar environment.
* 18th edition and NVQ level 3 are required.
* CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness certification.
* Gold card preferred.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
* Experience using a PDA and good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software.
* Willingness to undertake a DBS check with no unspent criminal convictions.
* Full UK manual driving licence.
