The successful candidate will work directly with senior portfolio managers, playing a pivotal role in generating differentiated investment ideas, conducting deep-dive research, and shaping the firm’s European and global consumer discretionary strategy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies within the consumer discretionary sector.
2. Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks.
3. Provide actionable investment recommendations to senior portfolio managers.
4. Monitor sector and company-specific developments, identifying both risks and opportunities.
5. Collaborate with a dynamic team of analysts and investment professionals across geographies.
Candidate Profile
6. 3–6 years’ equity research experience in either banking, asset management, or a hedge fund.
7. We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with shorting experience, as this will be seen as a strong advantage.
8. Deep understanding of sector dynamics, competitive landscapes, and key value drivers.
9. Strong modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
11. Ambitious, intellectually curious, and motivated by working in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.
