Overview
Project Control Manager - Transport & Utilities SW Bristol, Cardiff & Plymouth
Responsibilities
* Lead a cross-discipline Project Controls team on low-complexity, low-risk projects.
* Collaborate with project management to communicate and contextualise project performance and influence stakeholders.
* Define scope by identifying exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate scope decomposition.
* Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline and manage the change control process.
* Partner with Project and Commercial Management to establish Supplier Project Controls contract requirements and integrate/analyze supplier performance data.
* Build relationships to perform schedule recovery planning using schedule optimisation and critical path analysis.
* Ensure integration of scope, cost, risk, and schedule and analyse performance data to provide delivery insight and inform decisions.
* Collaborate with the Finance Team to generate Cost and Cash Estimate to Complete and Estimate At Complete profiles.
* Work with Risk Management to ensure risks are identified and managed.
* Guide Project Management in resource deployment in line with the schedule.
* Establish effective project governance and assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the Project Controls outputs.
* Identify learning opportunities and promote continuous improvement and skills development.
* Contribute to strategic regional growth of the business.
Qualifications and Skills
* Professional Project Controls experience in one or more sectors and in at least one discipline (Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management, or Reporting) and related software/tools is essential.
* Understanding of Integrated Project Controls disciplines is essential.
* Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
* Experience of working in an Integrated Project Team is essential.
* Experience in the transportation and utilities sectors is desirable.
* Experience using Project Controls software is desirable.
* Ability to travel to client sites across the Southwest as required is essential.
