Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will, among other, perform the following duties and hold the following responsibilities.
1. To support the roll out of the IT strategy as set out by the Division Technology Lead.
2. Provide directions and guidance to local IT Managers and MSP`s for the On-Demand division.
3. Develop and monitor KPIs for IT teams, IT operations, infrastructure, projects, and service delivery to measure performance and identify areas for efficiency.
4. Oversee and steer IT Projects from initiation to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
5. Provide weekly updates on the status of projects to the On- Demand Director
6. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements.
7. Align IT initiatives with business strategic objectives
8. Identify and prioritize technology initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
9. Manage technology budgets and resources effectively and conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
10. Ensure IT security controls are implemented and ensure compliance with the information security and information governance policies as set out by the Group.
11. Ensure the smooth running of all technology systems across the Division by managing all vendors and outsourced partners across all sites.
12. Measure and evaluate the performance of all third-party vendors.
13. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the technology infrastructure, networks, and systems including requirement gathering, vendor selection, project planning, solution design, system configuration, data migration, user acceptance testing and deployment.
14. Research, evaluate, and recommend system solutions based on business requirements, scalability, integration capabilities, and cost-effectiveness.
15. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for the division.
16. Provide monthly updates to the On-Demand Senior Leadership team.
Key Skills & Experiences
17. Degree educated in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
18. Highly motivated, proactive and determined problem solver who can drive and deliver solutions.
19. Have demonstrable experience in leading and developing successful teams.
20. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.-Demand Director.
21. Proven experience in system implementation and design.
22. Strong understanding of business processes and their alignment with technology solutions.
23. Experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, etc.)
24. Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
25. Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
26. Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
27. An understanding of IT budgeting and financial management.
28. IT compliance awareness with knowledge of risk management and understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV).
29. Knowledge of Microsoft suite including Office365, Dynamics and Power BI is an advantage.
30. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server is an advantage.
31. Knowledge of SAP 4 Hana is an advantage.
