Our Team: Our Financial Services Regulation team has a truly international reach, advising a broad spectrum of financial institutions—including fintechs, investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity funds—as well as several government entities, on financial regulatory matters across the UK, US, and Middle East. We work with our clients to solve some of the most complex challenges facing the industry today, providing strategic advice on risk, regulation, fund launches, and transformation projects.
Our Opportunity: We are looking for a talented lawyer to join our team and work on cutting-edge regulatory issues in a dynamic, fast-growing sector. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing legal advice on UK and EU financial services regulation across sectors including banking, payments, asset management, and insurance.
2. Supporting regulatory compliance, licensing, and authorization processes.
3. Monitoring and advising on regulatory developments impacting core financial services and innovative areas including digital assets and blockchain technology.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating regulatory submissions, policies, and client communications.
5. Collaborating with compliance, risk, operations, and product development teams to align regulatory strategies.
6. Supporting senior lawyers on complex regulatory projects with multi-jurisdictional issues.
7. Monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments impacting digital assets and broader financial services.

Qualifications: We are looking for an exceptional lawyer, qualified in England & Wales, with 2-6 years' post-qualification experience, and a solid understanding of UK regulation (FCA, PRA). Familiarity with EU regimes is preferred. Experience or interest in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or fintech regulation is desirable but not essential. Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills are required. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, come from a strong international practice, and be highly motivated, eager to develop lasting relationships internally and externally.
