The Role Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team and support the delivery of an exciting pipeline of modular housing projects across London and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to progress their career in project management within the modular and sustainable construction sector. Working closely with the Operations Director and wider delivery team, you’ll assist in coordinating design, commercial, and on-site activities — helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. Training and support will be provided, with clear pathways for career progression into Project Management. Key Responsibilities * Support the Project Manager in delivering modular construction projects from design through to completion (RIBA Stages 1–7). * Assist with preparing project briefs, reports, and progress updates for clients and stakeholders. * Coordinate with design, commercial, and planning teams to keep programmes, budgets, and documentation on track. * Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and third parties to support the smooth delivery of site activities. * Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety standards. * Help prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action plans. * Support in sourcing materials and labour for groundwork and installation packages. * Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and environmental standards. * Proactively identify challenges and work with senior colleagues to develop practical solutions. About You * Degree or HND in a relevant construction-related discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Architecture). * Some experience (or a strong interest) in construction, modular housing, or sustainable building projects. * Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Proficiency in project management tools or willingness to learn. * A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine interest in sustainability and innovation. * Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
