Overview

School vacancy for a Finance & HR Assistant at Clifton Green Primary School. Must be highly organised, detail-oriented, background in finance and/or HR administration, able to meet deadlines, good interpersonal skills, and IT proficiency.


Key Responsibilities

* Finance Support: raise purchase orders, process invoices, complete payment runs, maintain accurate records, prepare monthly VAT returns, reconcil monthly bank and procurement card.
* HR Administrative Support: assist recruitment processes, process new starters, contract changes, leavers, maintain Single Central Record, support staff absence monitoring, timesheets, and related reporting.


Qualifications

* Recent experience working in financial and/or HR environment.
* Highly organised, able to multi-task, high accuracy, strong numeracy skills.
* Excellent IT skills and quick to learn new systems.
* Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
* Build positive relationships, work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.


Employment Details

Full-time contract, permanent. Start November or December 2025. Monday to Friday with flexibility around start and finish times.
