What skills and experience we’re looking for
The governors at Westways Primary are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is looking to join our fantastic school community and work initially as part of our KS2 team. The right candidate will help to support high quality teaching and learning as well as the effective use of resources to bring about improved standards of achievement for all pupils.

* Is confident in covering full classes across school on an ad-hoc basis
* Is a team player who is willing to contribute to the ethos and wider community of the school
* Has a sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm

Further details about the role
* The successful candidate will have:
* GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent)
* NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
* Understanding of National Curriculum and the EYFS Framework
* An understanding of good quality childcare
* Confidence with using technology
* A commitment to safeguarding
