Elective Services is a leading clinical insourcing provider to the NHS, delivering specialised onsite hospital services across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a driven and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by results.
This is primarily a remote position, with full training and ongoing support provided.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and placing healthcare professionals across NHS and private sector projects. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing through to placement, while building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Sourcing and attracting high-quality healthcare professionals using a range of methods, including internal databases, cold calling hospitals, mailshots, LinkedIn recruiting etc.
* Screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates to ensure suitability for roles
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, providing a professional and supportive experience throughout the recruitment process
* Working closely with internal teams to understand workforce requirements for upcoming projects
* Coordinating interviews, offers, and placements efficiently
* Managing candidate pipelines and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
* Supporting mobilisation of projects by ensuring staffing requirements are met on time
* Negotiating rates, availability, and contractual terms with candidates
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards
* Meeting and exceeding placement and activity targets
Requirements
* Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in recruitment, ideally within healthcare or a fast-paced sector
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a recruitment or sales environment
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident working in a target-driven environment
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Experience using CRM systems and recruitment tools
* Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
* A minimum of 12 months’ experience working remotely
* Two professional references from recent employers
