The Role As an Acoustic Test Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring buildings meet sound performance and compliance standards. You'll work in lab and field settings on a wide variety of acoustic tests for ventilation systems, building partitions, insulation, and more. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out acoustic testing and reporting results Performing fault diagnosis and resolving issues Providing technical support to engineers and clients Supporting wider performance testing projects across the team Working in an advanced engineering laboratory environment You'll be supported by experienced engineers and given the opportunity to progress into more senior or specialised roles over time. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who has: Experience in acoustic testing in a construction, housing, engineering, or building services context A technical or engineering background (lab or site-based roles preferred) A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn Based within commuting distance of Bracknell Experience with sound insulation, environmental noise, or Part E Building Regulations is beneficial but not essential - training is provided.
