M&E Surveyor

The Role
We're looking for an experienced M&E Surveyor with strong mechanical expertise (especially heating and ventilation). You'll investigate defects, complete detailed condition surveys, prepare technical reports, and develop costed solutions to keep a diverse asset base performing at its best.
What You'll Do
Carry out M&E surveys across buildings, infrastructure, and utilities
Produce clear reports, scopes of work, and cost estimates
Diagnose defects and propose practical, value‑for‑money solutions
Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements
Support long‑term asset planning with accurate data and professional insight
What You'll Bring
5+ years' technical/surveying experience within construction or FM
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services
Knowledge of regulations, building standards, and health & safety practices
Confident with Microsoft Office and asset databases
Detail‑focused, proactive, and able to communicate clearly
Minimum HNC in a mechanical/electrical discipline (degree desirable)
Relevant H&S training (IOSH/NEBOSH) and ability to obtain security clearance
