Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruited for a Site Engineering Technician to join our site Engineering and Maintenance team in Billingham. What You'll Be Responsible For Becoming an integral part of the Quorn Billingham site maintenance team, you will undertake a variety of electrical and instrumentation duties, including planned and reactive maintenance tasks on shift. Reporting to our Site Maintenance Manager and working closely with plant engineers, you will be well-versed in working on the likes of flow, level, pressure and temperature systems, demonstrating understanding of electrical drawings, power distribution principles and control systems. You will be capable of responding effectively to emergent electrical and instrument works, selecting the appropriate course of action, including fault finding, whilst demonstrating safe working principles. The role will be based on a 4 on/6 off shift pattern (2 days/2 nights), across a 37.5 hour working week. What Experience You'll Need To Have Time-served with instrument or electrical bias to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Proficiency in IT systems such as Microsoft Office Excellent listening and communication skills to build positive relationships, resolve conflicts, and create a collaborative work environment Ability to present information comprehensively, accurately and legibly via electronic shift logs, inputting data into Holistech and by giving and receiving detailed and accurate handover Capable of using various systems to interact with the plant to aid fault diagnosis and CBM systems If possible, capable of fault finding in control panels on PLCs, VSDs and relay logic circuits (Electrical/Instrument Bias) as well as holding 18th Edition Wiring Regulations A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
