Initial 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
North Scout are partnering with a boutique consultancy to recruit a Power BI Developer to join a growing Data function within a well-known FTSE100 organisation. This is a UK-based remote role, initially offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong view to becoming permanent.
The Role;
As a Power BI Developer, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering high-quality data visualisations and reporting solutions that enable smarter decision-making across a complex enterprise environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, translating data into insight and supporting a data-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities;
* Develop, enhance and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
* Translate business requirements into meaningful data visualisations
* Optimise DAX queries and Power Query for performance and scalability
* Build and maintain robust data models aligned with governance standards
* Produce clear, concise technical documentation and support materials
* Collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For;
We’re after a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and values clarity, structure, and accuracy—particularly when it comes to documentation and data model design.
* Proven experience with Power BI in a commercial setting
* Strong DAX, Power Query, and data modelling capabilities
* Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehouse principles
* Excellent documentation and written communication skills
* Ideally, experience with some or all of the following Azure Synapse Analytics, Tabular Editor 3, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform tools.
* Confident working with stakeholders at all levels across the business
* Experience working in large enterprise environments is advantageous
