This is an initial 6 month contract, paying circa £650 a day, inside IR35, hybrid working. Job Description: · Experience of delivering cost efficiency projects within the Public Sector e.g. re-orientation of functions, consolidate, centralise etc. · Experience of delivering Op Model work. · Stakeholder Management - management of change resistance, engaging with HE on related work, sensitivities etc. · By Agile experience we mean; experience in taking an iterative approach to delivery. We are currently delivering the programme in 3 month tranches. Need some one who has worked on People focused projects (not technical) for example, HR, L&D etc. Cost saving projects ie mergers, redundancies, Consolidations The Senior Project Manager will be working on our Organisational Blueprint Programme. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of leading moderate complexity change projects in the public sector. The successful person will be accountable to the Programme Manager and will lead the delivery of one of more priority work areas within the Organisation Blueprint programme, a key initiative in our change portfolio. They will need to work flexibly and move between work areas as required to respond to business needs. The priority work areas are likely to include; supporting the design, development, and implementation of cost efficiency projects; and or new target operating model across several business areas. The successful candidate will lead and manage project(s) on a day-to-day basis. They will be responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of the project to ensure that objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints. The project manager will have a key role in project governance and working with stakeholders, to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable benefits to be realised. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will hold relevant professional qualifications such as a recognised PPM Practitioner level certification e.g., APM Chartered Project Professional, PRINCE2 Practitioner / Agile, and/ or be able to demonstrate considerable depth and breadth of experience in leading and delivering medium complexity business change projects.
