As an Electronics Technician at Baker Hughes, you will be supporting electrical manufacturing activities to deliver high‑quality assemblies. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all builds.

You will be assembling, soldering, and inspecting electronic components with a focus on quality and consistency. You will be contributing to safe operations while supporting daily production goals.
As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Assembling electronic components and wiring harnesses per drawings
2. Performing precision soldering on SMT and through‑hole components
3. Executing crimping tasks using manual or automated tools
4. Maintaining safe and organized workstations with ESD compliance
5. Documenting production activities and reporting defects
6. Following production schedules and achieving daily output targets
7. Supporting inspections to ensure product quality
8. Coordinating with team members to improve workflow
Essential Skills:
9. Strong skills in soldering and crimping
10. Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
11. Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards
12. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
13. Ability to work independently and in a team
14. Basic computer skills for documentation tasks
To be successful in this role you will:
15. Have a high school diploma or equivalent
16. Have relevant experience in electronics assembly or testing
17. Have hands‑on experience with soldering and crimping tools
18. Have familiarity with IPC standards (certification preferred)
