Our client is seeking a Clinical Administrator on an initial 3-month contract to support outpatient services. The position focuses on delivering accurate and efficient administrative support within a healthcare environment.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Reviewing and quality-checking clinical correspondence generated via digital platforms.
* Managing the preparation and formatting of patient letters and documentation.
* Monitoring and managing clinical documentation workflows to meet KPIs.
* Highlighting correspondence requiring further clinical input.
* Communicating dictated instructions to relevant administrative teams.
* Ensuring accurate storage and filing of documentation in line with procedures.
* Sending completed correspondence to relevant stakeholders, including GPs.
* Responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner.
* Supporting the development and improvement of documentation processes.
* Assisting with administrative projects and providing team cover when required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare or similar environment, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. They will be confident using digital systems and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy. Strong communication skills and a professional, discreet approach are essential, along with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of medical terminology or experience in clinical administration would be advantageous.
