Empowering Learning are working with a Special Needs School in Leeds who are seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support in their classrooms on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. These roles are to start in September. Pay: £100-£100 a day Monday to Friday school hours The roles will be ten weeks temp to perm - you MUST have 5 GCSE's and fill in an application link. The school caters for Primary pupils supporting Children with Autism, Complex Needs, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties and Communication needs. You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities. ```Duties``` - Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students. - Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism. - Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. - Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene. - Support students in their academic and social development. - Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher. - Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies. ```Skills``` - Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviours. - Knowledge of special education practices and strategies. ...
