What You’ll Be Doing:
* Manage team of bid writers (Currently two) allocating works, monitoring performance and increasing production whilst maintaining quality.
* Review bids and answers before being submitted ensuring all key points etc are covered in depth
* Responsible for writing bids and contribution to answers – hands on role
* Mentor bid writers and strive for continuous improvement through lessons learnt sessions, create training and feedback sessions to team
* Submit monthly reports on team member performances weakness strengths etc
* Conduct quarter one to one meetings with team members
* The person will work closely with our Bid Co-ordinator to create project specific tender plans including check points, progress
* Have a strong understanding of social value
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience within public sector procurement (Social housing, local Authority, capital works)
* Knowledge on social value and how to get economically score well
* Knowledge on frameworks and how they work
* Salary up to £60,000 DOE
* Office based (flexibility available)
