This is a full‑time role working Monday‑Friday 7:30 – 17:00, and every other Saturday from 08:00‑12:00.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
* Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
* Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
* Help to process and prepare customer orders – load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
* Work as a direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
* Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
* Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
* Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
* Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
