Paid Media Specialist/Marketer– Italian Speaking

Our client is a leading company in the Mobility/Accessibility industry and is seeking to employ a Paid Media Specialist/Marketer – Italian Speaking - with a primary focus on the Italian market while operating as part of the central marketing team.
The role is reporting to the Marketing Communications Director.
Purpose of Position:
The Paid Media Specialist delivers business growth through high-quality lead generation across paid digital channels, with a primary focus on the Italian market while operating as part of the central marketing team.
Key to success in this role is effective collaboration with paid media agencies (with a view to bring paid activity in-house), strong performance oversight, and continuous optimisation of paid search and paid social activity to deliver efficient cost per lead and strong ROI across multiple markets.
Duties:
• Collaborate closely with paid media agencies to shape and deliver paid search and paid social strategies aligned to business objectives
• Take day-to-day ownership of paid media performance, monitoring spend, leads, CPL and conversion quality
• Lead budget allocation and pacing across campaigns to ensure optimal ROAS and cost efficiency
• Work with agencies and internal teams to audit and improve landing pages, ad copy and user journeys to drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
• Strengthen market visibility by identifying new keyword opportunities and monitoring competitor activity
• Maintain up to date knowledge of market and competitor information from a digital marketing perspective, to ensure activity is relevant and impactful
• Translate complex performance data into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders
Personal Specification:
Italian / English language fluency (spoken and written)
At least 2 years' hands-on experience working on paid media campaigns (PPC and paid social)
Strong understanding of paid search performance metrics (CPL, ROAS, conversion rate, impression share)
Experience with Google Ads (Search, Performance Max) and paid social platforms
Understanding of CRO principles and landing page optimisation
Knowledge of SEO and how paid and organic activity support each other
Ability to analyse and interpret performance data to support decision-making
Experience managing budgets and pacing spend against targets
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to translate complex performance data into clear, simple insights
Organised, detail oriented and comfortable working across multiple markets
Experience working in multi-market or European business environments
Experience in lead generation driven businesses
