As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching across the school’s key stages, helping students develop critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. You will create engaging and thought-provoking lessons, ensuring pupils gain a deeper understanding of the world, its history, and cultures. Responsibilities of a Humanities Teacher Plan and deliver inspiring Humanities lessons tailored to the curriculum. Support students in developing their analytical, evaluative, and research skills. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and respect. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities. Teacher of Humanities Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Humanities or a related subject. Experience as a Humanities Teacher is necessary. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across key stages 3, 4 and 5. Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student success.
