Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are looking for anExperienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established warehouse operation in Avonmouth. In this hands-on role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure the safe, accurate handling of goods while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and security.
Role Details & Benefits:
1. Location: Avonmouth
2. Full-time, Permanent position
3. Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
4. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)

Duties & Responsibilities:
8. Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
9. Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods in line with operational procedures
10. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely system updates
11. Monitor, implement, and enforce health and safety standards
12. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with security, confidentiality, and data protection policies
13. Train and develop team members to achieve performance targets
14. Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer service standards are met
15. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
The Right Candidate:
16. Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or comparable leadership role
17. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
18. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
19. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
20. Competent in management systems and Microsoft Office
21. High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and data protection
22. Hold Forklift licence or willingness to train
