As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the practice team, working with Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Nurses, and Student nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing a gold standard service to patients and clients
* Following cleaning protocols to maintain clinical environment cleanliness
* Preparing and maintaining medical equipment
This role is based at the St Ives practice in Cambridge. The position involves working 40 hours a week, including some weekends and bank holidays.

Role Accountabilities:

In This Role You Will:
* Deliver exceptional client care
* Support operations and procedures
* Monitor and care for patients, including walking, toileting, and feeding
* Complete pre- and post-operation activities
* Assist with patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care
* Dispense medication under veterinary guidance
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards
Your Skills And Experience:
* Experience working as part of a team and building positive relationships
* Ability to provide exceptional care and remain calm under pressure
