Job Title: Transport Planner
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Integral Staff are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics company based in Birmingham. We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their dynamic operations team.
About the Role:
As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and coordination of a fleet of 15–20 trucks. You will be responsible for organising daily routes, managing driver schedules, and ensuring compliance with all transport legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, allocate, and monitor daily transport operations for a fleet of 15–20 vehicles
*
Liaise with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
*
Maintain accurate records of routes, delivery times, and vehicle performance
*
Ensure compliance with all health & safety and transport regulations
*
React efficiently to any changes or challenges in the daily transport schedule
*
Provide excellent communication and coordination across departments
Working Hours:
*
Monday to Friday
*
1:00pm – 10:00pm
*
45 hours per week
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role
*
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
*
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
*
Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance standards
*
Proficient in using transport planning software and Microsoft Office
