Activities Coordinator
About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement activities that delight our Residents.
* Help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events.
* Support Residents to socialise more confidently, develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies, and involve the rest of the care home team.
* Maintain a sense of kindness in all interactions.
Required Experience
* Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
* Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively and communicate with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding
* Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do.
* Attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and undertake additional training as required.
* Seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
