Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes. This role involves guiding individuals or teams in their sporting pursuits, fostering skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating a positive and motivating environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes or teams.
* Educate athletes on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
* Provide constructive feedback to enhance performance and skill development.
* Foster a positive team culture that promotes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
* Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring all activities are safe and effective.
* Monitor athlete progress and adjust training plans as necessary to achieve goals.
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding performance and development.
* Attend competitions to support athletes, providing guidance and motivation.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong understanding of the sport being coached.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire athletes.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate individuals and teams.
* Ability to analyse performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
* First Aid certification is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering athletic talent.
* Flexibility in working hours, including evenings or weekends as required by training schedules or competitions.
