Record to Report Manager
Job Title: This is a leadership position responsible for managing and providing effective and efficient accounting, consolidation, closing, intercompany, reporting, and other related services in line with relevant accounting standards and GAAP requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial systems and finance processes, understanding of best practices and metrics for RTR, previous experience in working with finance ERP systems, specifically with S/4 HANA preferred, Professional Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), expert knowledge of UK adopted International Accounting Standards and relevant UK GAAP requirements, stays up to date on upcoming changes and supports planning and implementation of new requirements. Strong track record in RTR operations in a shared services environment and strong leadership skills with previous experience of leading a team of 5+ by setting clear goals, motivating team members and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
About the Role:
This role is part of a new Finance Shared Service centre across Spalding and Newark sites. You will lead a team of Accountants responsible for producing accurate and timely accounts and offering a great service to the business. You will draw upon your previous experiences to help develop standardised processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Bakkavor is currently investing in a new ERP so committed to driving improvements and building a team for the future.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of Accountants responsible for producing accurate and timely accounts and offering a great service to the business
- Develop standardised processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the R2R lead in key meetings, reviews, and relationship management
