The Role
Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting a Production Technician on a permanent basis (subject to pre-employment checks). The role is available immediately, full time, working 36.25 hours per week with a salary of £29,226 on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales. The position is based across the Ravelston and Queensferry Road sites.
The Production Technician will support the Production Manager in organizing and running all production and technical aspects of school productions and external events at the Tom Fleming Centre, Mar Hall, and The Dean.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a technical role in an arts venue, with up-to-date knowledge of technical production. Strong communication, organizational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to high professional standards and ongoing professional development is important.
