What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Lead the strategic planning and flow of stock across the ambient network, ensuring alignment with customer supply chain strategy and future activity
* Own network labour strategy, working closely with HR and site leadership to ensure peak readiness, cost control and service excellence
* Champion continuous improvement, working with GXO and customer tech teams to implement technology, process improvements and network‑wide initiatives
* Act as the single point of contact for supply chain on future activity, growth, scoping and high‑profile projects, clearly communicating benefit and risk
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with GXO and M&S stakeholders, delivering clear network briefings and driving a one‑team, cross‑functional culture
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience leading network planning, flow or supply chain strategy within a complex logistics or retail environment
* Strong knowledge of planning principles, stock positioning and labour strategy, with the commercial acumen to deliver CI and gainshare benefits
* Demonstrable experience delivering large‑scale projects from concept through to delivery, on time and with measurable outcomes
* Highly analytical, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight and compelling executive‑level communication
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability, with the confidence to influence senior customers and internal leaders
