YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all business functions run efficiently and effectively.
* Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that improve productivity and streamline workflows.
* Ensure the organization’s operational, financial, and strategic objectives are met by implementing sound business practices and maximizing resource efficiency.
* Overall P&L responsibility.
* Work with the Board of Directors to establish and maintain company-wide policies, objectives, and performance standards.
* Ensure financial management, budgeting, and forecasting are aligned with business goals, promoting cost control and financial sustainability.
* Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, senior leadership, and all relevant stakeholders on company performance, key initiatives, and challenges.
* Manage budgets, resource allocation, and inventory to optimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
* Conduct regular assessments of operational processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to operational staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, as well as company policies.
* Analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights to senior management.
* Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and maintain high-performance standards.
* Act as a liaison between senior management and staff to ensure alignment with company goals.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
This role would suit an experienced Operations Manager looking for that next step up.
* Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
* In-depth understanding of business operations, financial management, budgeting, and risk management.
* Strong knowledge of operational processes, best practices, and industry standards.
* Understanding and knowledge of Quality and H&S management systems.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think strategically and manage complex projects with attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency with operational software, MS Office, CAD, SAP.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
