Role Overview
We have excellent opportunities for Graduate Engineers to join our dynamic team. Graduates play a key role in the planning, designing and delivering our infrastructure projects alongside an experienced project team. You will gain hands on experience in the world of Civil Engineering, building on and developing your previous work experience and academic achievements.
What you'll do:
1. Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects including Marine, Civil Infrastructure and Rail
2. Conduct site visits and investigations
3. Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications using CAD software
4. Support Project Managers in planning, budgeting and scheduling tasks
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environment regulations
6. Collaborate with architects, surveyors and contractors to ensure project success
7. Monitor construction progress and provide technical support on site
8. Analyse data and provide recommendations for engineering solutions
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, it is essential to have:
9. Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management or other relevant area
10. Minimum of 40 weeks work experience within Civil Engineering or Construction
11. Full driving license, permitting driving within the UK/Ireland
12. Flexibility to travel to sites
13. IT Literacy
It would also be desirable to have:
14. CSR, CSCS or Safe Pass card/certificate
15. Working knowledge of AutoCAD
