We are looking for a Integrations Engineer to lead integration workstreams on deployment projects, working hands‑on with HL7 messaging, interoperability, and interface engines in complex NHS environments.
This is a delivery-focused role with real ownership. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and technical stakeholders to design, build, and support integrations that matter.
What you will be doing
* Designing, developing, and supporting HL7 interfaces that integrate safely and reliably with healthcare systems
* Working directly with NHS customers on requirements gathering, architecture decisions, testing, and go‑live support
* Supporting deployments, upgrades, and business‑as‑usual integrations across live environments
* Managing and resolving integration incidents using ITIL best practices
* Collaborating with clinical, technical, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with real‑world workflows
What we are looking for
* Experience working in or for the NHS, with a strong understanding of healthcare environments
* Deep knowledge of HL7 messaging and healthcare system integrations
* Hands‑on experience with interface engines such as Rhapsody
* Solid understanding of APIs, interoperability standards, and secure data exchange
* A confident communicator who can work comfortably with customers and internal teams
* A delivery‑focused mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
