Job purpose
Remit is recruiting on behalf of Pro Automotive Scotland Ltd who have an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in starting a career and gaining a recognized qualification in the Automotive Industry.
The apprentice program always apprentices to work full-time and can earn while they learn and put theory into practice within the Automotive Industry environment.
Attending college typically for the first 3 years and the last year based within the workshop. A qualified vehicle paint technician applies paint and finishes to a vehicle which has recently been repaired by the vehicle body technician. You will learn how to recognize the various materials used on vehicles and the prep that needs to be done before applying the paints and finishes. It is a skilled job, and you will be taught how to estimate costs accurately as well as given a thorough briefing in health and safety.

* The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Nationals at level 4 or above in English and Math's
* It is also preferred if you have a Craft Subject and physics/science these are advantageous but not mandatory.
* A desire to work in the Automotive Industry
* The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Confidence in problem-solving
