Overview
Sentio Inclusive Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counsellor to join our clients' team in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to supporting children and young people in their personal growth and development. As a Counsellor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing care plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, while also providing guidance and support throughout their journey.
Responsibilities will include developing and implementing personalised care plans for children and young people, ensuring they align with individual goals and needs. You will provide one-on-one counselling sessions, offering support, guidance, and resources to clients facing various challenges. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
Experience
* Proven experience in a counselling role or related field is essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication is necessary for efficient operation within the role.
* A background in developing care plans or similar frameworks is highly desirable, showcasing an understanding of client-centred approaches.
* Working experience with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
