School Facilities & Health & Safety Lead

Location: Christchurch, BH23

Full-time | Permanent

We're looking for a proactive Facilities & Health & Safety Lead to take charge of our workplace environment, ensuring it's safe, efficient, and compliant. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day facilities operations, oversee contractors, and drive health & safety initiatives that support both our people and our business.

What you'll do:

* Lead facilities management across the site, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Oversee health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and audits.
* Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring service excellence and value for money.
* Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety, sustainability, and efficiency.
* Support emergency planning and act as the go-to contact for H&S matters.

What we're looking for:

* Solid experience in facilities and/or health & safety management.
* Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Relevant H&S qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH) are highly desirable.
