We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join our dynamic and friendly practice as a salaried GP. Experience is preferred however we would be open to employing a newly qualified GP for the right candidate. Mentorship is provided by a named GP Partner to facilitate a smooth transition into the team.
About the Practice
Our Clinical team consists of 6 Partners, 7 salaried GPs, GP Trainee, 1 ANP, 5 Practice Nurses, a Frailty Practice Nurse and 3 HCAs. We are a traditional general practice, committed to delivering high quality care to our patients with a strong ethos focused on excellent team working to achieve a manageable workload.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
* Work between 6 and 8 sessions (working days to be discussed).
* Operate morning and afternoon surgeries with a mix of telephone and face‑to‑face appointments. Surgery is open 8 am – 6 30 pm.
* Share on‑calls, home visits, admin work and holiday cover for colleagues.
* Keep up to date with current evidence‑based practice and CPD.
* Adhere to GMC standards of Good Medical Practice and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multi‑disciplinary team.
Person Specification
* Essential Experience: GP qualified and experience; newly qualified GP considered if appropriate.
* Specialist Knowledge: Details of any specialist knowledge and experience.
* Essential Qualifications: GMC registered, performers list.
