Currently recruiting Support Practitioners for our new service in Peterhead, offering full time and part time hours. This is a 24 hour support service working early and late shifts, sleepover and night shifts, weekends and public holidays via a rota system.

About the role

We are looking for nurturing and friendly Support Practitioners to join our new service in Peterhead. This is more than a job; this is your chance to make a difference within your community by the work you do by supporting individuals lead the most fulfilling life possible.

You will work directly with adults supporting them to participate in their chosen activities such as going out to lunch, seeing friends, going to the gym/swimming or simply out for a walk. We want you to work closely with individuals to develop their life skills such as communication, social skills, and ultimately their independence. In their homes you will support with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

You don’t need experience but you do need the commitment and drive to bring the best part of you every day!

Once you start your journey with Sense Scotland, you will receive the best possible support whist you navigate your way through your first weeks and beyond. On offer is one-to-one on the job training; in-house classroom style training with our experts and the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge via our e-learning packages.


Available hours and shift patterns:
Current vacancies extend to full time (37 hours) and part time hours.
You will be working various shift patterns including early, late, sleepover and nightshifts, weekends and public holidays via a staff rota to meet the needs of the service.
