About the role
Join Sense Scotland in a fulfilling career where your compassion and energy can make a real impact. As a Support Practitioner, you'll help adults with additional support needs live vibrant, independent liveswhether it's enjoying lunch out, swimming, or simply going for a walk.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting adults in daily activities like:
* Going out to lunch, meeting friends, gym/swimming, walks
* Helping develop life skills:
* Communication, social interaction, independence
* Providing in-home support:
* Personal care, meal prep, medication, cleaning, laundry
Training and Support
No prior experience, that's ok as we will teach you everything you need to know.
* One-to-one on-the-job training
* Expert-led classroom sessions
* Access to e-learning packages and ongoing development
Shift Patterns
This is a 24-hour support service, so shifts include:
* Early and late shifts
* Sleepovers and nightshifts
* Weekends and public holidays
* all scheduled via a supportive staff rota.
