Principle Roles and Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant at Rochcare, you will provide personal care in line with individual care plans to enhance residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. You will interact with residents, their families and visitors, attend review meetings, and represent Rochcare professionally.
Responsibilities
* Review and work in accordance with individual care plans and provide personal care accordingly.
* Build empowering relationships with residents and their families through effective communication; maintain a clean and safe environment; complete records and routines accurately.
* Interact with friends and family, attend review meetings, greet visitors, and represent Rochcare professionally.
* Demonstrate compassion, respect privacy, and maintain high professional standards.
* Work as part of a team committed to person-centered care; participate in mandatory training (safeguarding, first aid, infection control, end of life care, health and safety, medicines handling, dementia care).
Qualifications and Skills
* Right to live and work in the UK
* A kind, patient and compassionate nature
* Good English, numeracy and writing skills
* Good communications and listening skills
Desirable Criteria
* GCSE (or equivalent) A-C in English and Maths
* A social care qualification such as Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Additional Details
* Salary: £12.51 per hour (depending on qualifications)
* Schedule: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent or Bank available
