Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their team.
Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality financial support and information to senior management, directors, and stakeholders within the business. Ultimately, driving the finance agenda, playing an integral part in the decision-making process, and constantly seeking improvements to existing business processes. You will be responsible for full P&L analysis, providing relevant insights, and formulating strategies to drive performance. Translating the numbers and providing true business partnering across the value chain, as well as transparency and analysis for accurate group reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the production and delivery of monthly accounts and supporting papers.
* Support the delivery of the annual audit.
* Manage the monthly company forecast and liaise with the group on arising matters.
* Overhead controlling, analysis, and reporting on business risks and opportunities.
* Develop, streamline, and enhance financial management and reporting processes.
* Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to aid management decisions.
* Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, preparing and communicating an effective plan and structure.
* Ensure internal controls and systems are effective, reviewing current systems for continual improvement.
* Handle billing, cost recognition, and preparation of contract summary packs.
Essential Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
