THE ROLE
The Commercial Events Lead will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing a range of existing and new consumer-focused events to drive revenue and increase brand awareness. The role requires a creative, strategic, and results-driven professional who can develop and implement events that support our commercial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, blended with commercial experience and cross-functional collaboration skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with our growth, revenue, and strategic objectives.
* Collaborate with the commercial leadership and brand team to define event goals, messaging, and target audiences.
* Create event calendars, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
* Lead end-to-end event planning, including logistics, vendor management, venue selection, and on-site coordination.
* Oversee the design and production of event materials in collaboration with the Brand Marketing team.
* Manage event staff, including internal teams and external vendors, to ensure smooth operations.
* Work with marketing teams to ensure relevant audience engagement and attendance.
* Engage with partners and sponsors to enhance event offerings and create co-branded content.
* Drive revenue through sponsorships and partnerships, analyzing event performance for improvements.
* Conduct post-event evaluations, including feedback collection, financial analysis, and ROI assessment.
* Stay updated on industry trends and identify innovative event formats to engage customers and partners.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably within the automotive industry.
* Proven success in planning and executing large-scale commercial events.
* Strong understanding of the automotive marketplace.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
* Analytical skills to assess event performance and derive insights.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Proficiency in event management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
