Job Description
We are looking for a junior Stress Engineer to work on metallic structural analysis projects within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in static and fatigue analysis for wing structures and hands-on experience using ISAMI.
What will you be doing?
* Perform metallic structural analysis on aerospace components, focusing on wing assemblies.
* Conduct static and fatigue calculations to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.
* Utilise ISAMI to carry out stress analysis in accordance with Aerospace methods and standards.
* Prepare technical documentation and reports to support certification.
* Liaise with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve structural issues.
Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in metallic stress analysis (static and fatigue) for aerospace structures.
* Proficiency with ISAMI for structural modelling and verification.
* Understanding of aerospace industry standards and practices.
* Familiarity with industry tools such as NASTRAN/PATRAN or HyperMesh.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
