An opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to join the ISP Procurement team supporting Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical suppliers.
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience
Working Arrangements: Hybrid, 2 days on-site per week
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will need to undergo BPSS checks managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity: Join a dynamic quality team to provide QA support to the supply chain, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and supporting production hardware delivery.
The Role:
* Proactively manage non-conformances and drive continuous improvement
* Lead root cause analysis of supplier product non-conformances
* Ensure effective supplier corrective actions, ideally at supplier locations
* Analyze non-conformance data and report to management and customers
* Identify quality risks related to project milestones and deliverables, proposing mitigation solutions
* Participate in Project Quality networks
* Support IME development projects for compliance with validation milestones
* Conduct quality audits and assessments per surveillance plans and contractual requirements
* Create source inspection and manufacturing audit plans based on historical data
* Review and approve FAIRs from suppliers for compliance
* Identify process improvements to enhance delivery quality and timeliness
Candidate Requirements:
* HNC/HND in Engineering preferred
* Experience in product assurance within Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
* Desirable: APQP, PFMEA, Green Belt, 8D, RCA, DMAIC experience
* Good understanding of product lifecycle, especially development
* Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, SAP QM, and document management tools
* Awareness of continuous improvement methodologies
