Core3 is working with a growing professional services firm to recruit a Finance Business Partner, based in Bristol. This is a newly created role within a developing commercial finance function, offering the opportunity to influence profitability, pricing, and performance across the business.
This business is investing in its commercial finance capability, recognising the importance of strong financial insight in driving performance. As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to understand operations, identify opportunities, and deliver tangible improvements. You'll have strong exposure to leadership and play a central role in shaping strategy, influencing decisions, and improving commercial outcomes.
How you'll make an impact
* Partner with senior stakeholders to improve performance across assigned business areas
* Build strong relationships with leadership teams to drive commercial outcomes
* Analyse financial performance to identify opportunities for profitability improvement
* Support the development and delivery of profit improvement plans
* Contribute to pricing strategy and proposal development, balancing client needs with commercial outcomes
* Provide clear financial insight and commentary to support decision-making
* Challenge stakeholders to deliver against budget and performance targets
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Improve working capital performance across assigned areas
* Contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
* Act as a key link between finance and operational teams
Why you're a great fit
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent
* Strong grounding in financial analysis and interpretation
* Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
* Commercial awareness, with an interest in driving business performance
* Experience working with financial data to support decision-making
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
* Proactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge and ask questions
* Trained within a top-tier or large accountancy practice, or with a comparable technical foundation

* Salary £60,000-£70,000
